A white peasant top from Belle France is the highlight of this outfit of the day for my Fashion Over 50 post. Post may contain affiliate links.
I remember reading something along the way about fashion, that if you were wore something when it was originally in style, then you shouldn’t wear it again when it comes back in style. While I think that can hold true for some things. Anyone remember when short shorts were called hot pants? I do. I won’t be wearing them again no matter what you call them. However, I lived in peasant blouses as a teenager. They were my number one favorite thing to wear. I remember they had embroidery on them and even little mirrors. My favorite came from a local head shop up the street. I still have one of my peasant blouses and my favorite pair of patched and repatched bell bottoms in a box in my closet.
So, when I saw this gorgeous white peasant blouse from Belle France at Steinmart on the 50% rack, I didn’t hesitate. I loved it at first sight. I loved it so much, you might see it next week in another color! It is everything I love about peasant blouses. Soft and comfortable, with pretty white on white embroidery. I especially love the detailing. But what sets this above the rest is that it as a built in very light camisole. The camisole is so loose and light, it is perfect!
I paired it with Kut From the Kloth Jeans and my favorite Restricted Flats.
