A review of Noodle & Pho a Vietnamese Restaurant in Hixson, TN.
We have actually eaten out at Noodle & Pho many times, but I am just now getting around to reviewing it. The first thing to notice is the name. You’ll find it under Noodle & Pho and Noodles & Pho. Their Facebook page says, Noodle & Pho, so that is what I’m using!
It is located in a strip shopping center off of Highway 153. It is small and narrow, with tables for 4 and 2. Since it was just us, we sat at one of the smaller two top tables. We got there early on a Saturday and we sat ourselves. Our waitress was over in a few minutes to take our order. We both ordered the Rare Beef Noodle and spring rolls as an appetizer.
When the spring rolls arrived, we realized that we actually meant summer rolls – which are not fried. We had never tried the spring rolls, so this was our opportunity. The plate of rolls was placed in the center of the table. We did not receive any small plates, so eating them was kind of awkward. They were good, but a little greasy.
The Rare Beef Noodle was very nice. Thin slices of beef which cooked in the broth. It was a generous serving, with ample noodles and beef, but one that I easily finished. It was served with the usual condiments. The broth was very sweet.
The pho is good, not the best that I’ve ever had, but still good.
