Dry Tequila Fizz | Tipsy Tuesday

By Pam Greer 9 Comments

It turns out that ginger and tequila is the perfect combination, especially in this Dry Tequila Fizz – definitely one to add to your Tequila Cocktails list!

Dry Tequila Fizz - so delicious and easy with Dry Sparkling Ginger Soda!

Sometimes you want to play like a mad scientist in your kitchen mixing up the next best cocktails.  Sometimes you want to cheat a little and use some fabulous mix in that makes it so easy.  My favorite way to cheat a little is with Dry Sparkling Sodas.  This is not a sponsored post, it’s just me letting you in on one of my favorite easy ways to toss together a great cocktail.

Dry Tequila Fizz made with Dry Sparkling Ginger.

As I was strolling through HomeGoods, I spotted a large bottle of Dry Sparkling Ginger.   I have to confess, I absolutely love the food section at HomeGoods, almost as much as the dinnerware and glassware!  I love the flavor of ginger in cocktails, so I didn’t hesitate to grab it.   I knew that Dry Sparkling always has a few cocktails to choose from for each of the flavors.

Dry Tequila Fizz using Sparkling Dry Ginger

Since tequila is my liquor of choice (well it’s tied with gin), I settled on the Dry Tequila Fizz.   Sparkling Dry Ginger, tequila, lemon juice, egg whites and splash of grenadine is all you need for this refreshing tequila cocktail!  Their Dry Tequila Fizz is certainly more red than ours.  Perhaps their splash of grenadine is larger than or splash or it could be that we used  Homemade Grenadine instead of the bright dye infused sugar water that is store bought grenadine.

Yes!! This drink looks amazing – as usual – and I, too, LOVE the food section at Home Goods. I like to look for pink Himalayan salt, gluten free goodies, fun vinegars, and drink mixers. Seriously, I practically have a list when I go in there!
