A review of Founders Pale Ale for Into the Pint Glass: Pale Ale.
So, guess who finally got her act together enough to participate in Food, Booze and Baggage’s Into the Pint Glass bi-weekly link up? Yep. Finally. I picked a great week to start because pale ales are my favorite beer.
We decided to go with a Founders Pale Ale. I love a good pale ale. I love the hoppy citrus flavor. The hoppier it is, the happier I am. I consider pale ales the Sauvignon Blancs of the beer world. They say about their ale: A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle, this medium-bodied pale ale has refreshing citrus notes and a distinctive floral hop aroma due to the aggressive addition of hops during fermentation. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.
We say: we agree with everything they say. This hoppy beer made me very happy. We did notice the malty sweetness at the end. Very refreshing, perfect for hot summer day.
