I have settled on my fall capsule wardrobe colors:  black, white (or ivory), gray, beige, blush and cranberry.  The blush and cranberry will be accent colors, though both can act as neutrals too.  I decided to stay with the blush, because it worked so well in my summer capsule – Adding Blush to my Capsule.

One of my favorite things about having a capsule wardrobe is shopping.  Yes, shopping was one of my favorite things before I started a capsule wardrobe, but now it is even better.  Before when I walked into a clothing store, it was like the world was my oyster.  I was like a magpie flitting from one pretty object to the next.  Anything in my size was fair game.

But with a capsule wardrobe, I am more focused.  It has to be in my color palette or I don’t even look at it.  I can get in and out of a store in no time, without being flustered and overwhelmed.  When I do choose to buy something, I know that it is going to integrate seamlessly into my wardrobe.  Like these Restricted Verna Blush flats that I found at Marshall’s.  I didn’t even have to think about them.  I tried them on, I loved them, they go perfectly with my capsule.  Boom.  Done.
