You will love the rum ginger combination in this Slightly Windy Cocktail!
Remember last week when I posted the Dry Tequila Fizz? Well, that recipe didn’t use all of the Dry Sparkling Ginger, so I went back to their website and found this Slightly Windy. Rum and Ginger may be my new favorite flavor combination. This was so good. I have really fallen in love with using Dry Sparkling Soda as a mixer. It adds flavor so easily. They aren’t sponsoring me or anything like that, I just love their product.
Anyone else here have cats? Anyone tried to take their blog photos with their kitty cats help? Here’s Luxie doing her best photobomb to date!
Thank goodness she came along to “help” right?
So, back to this cocktail. It’s so easy. It’s Ginger Dry Soda, lime juice, simple syrup, Angostura bitters, and dark rum! Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3 oz Ginger Dry sparkling soda
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
- 1 1/2 oz dark rum
Instructions
- Combine lime juice, simple syrup, bitters and dark rum in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 15 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice and top with Ginger Dry Sparkling soda. Stir.

I’m a big fan of using ginger ale as a mixer, but I’ve actually never tried with rum. Can’t wait to try this out!

That sounds like a lovely cocktail to me! And your photos are beautiful! My cats photobomb all the time. Sometimes it is really funny though. It’s hard to get upset when they’re so cute while they’re doing it. 🙂
