What’s your favorite aisle of HomeGoods? Is it possible to have a favorite aisle in that store? I always grab a cart as soon as I walk in, even if I am only there for one thing. Then I wander up and down each and every aisle, because you never know what you might find! Since I am also a food blogger, Sidewalk Shoes, I spend a little extra time in the gourmet food aisle. It’s like Christmas to me! One of my new favorite finds is Chia Pop by Lesserevil! I love it, and pick up a couple of bags every time I am there! In one serving it has 5 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein and only about 110 calories!!!
This trip I got my usual popcorn and then spotted a jar of dulce de leche! I have all ready used it in a panna cotta recipe (which I’ll be posting on my food blog soon). Then I spotted a jar of organic mixed berry jam, perfect to go with my homemade almond butter!
No cute yellow bowls this time, but plenty of good food!
Have I mentioned how excited I am to find someone who shares the same interests? 🙂 I enjoy reading your blogs. It makes me miss my blog, where I used to write about all this… fashion, food, books, shopping. I don’t stop by Home Goods a lot, but my favorite aisle at TJ Maxx is the one with the kitchen stuff: gourmet foods and kitchen goods. I love all the colorful ramekins, casserole dishes and other wonderful things I have. I went from enjoying shopping for clothes, to spending more time in this section. I love shopping for gourmet foods, discovering a new type of mustard, an interesting jar of preserve, spices (you can’t have too many!) etc. And aside from TJ Maxx, I also love shopping at World Market. I love that they send me $10 off $30 coupons and whenever I get my $10 birthday reward, I spend it all on food and colorful kitchen items.
