My new favorite app!
I’m going to be doing a blog post on Texture – my new favorite app. So, all I want to say now is that I love that app – it gives me all access to a bunch of my favorite magazines. It was using their search feature that I found 50 Things to Make with Cranberries in the Food Network magazine. I immediately skipped through the standard recipes and headed straight for those featuring alcohol, because that is how I roll! The first thing I made was Brandied Cranberries.
Make some brandied cranberries!
Once you have gorgeous, vibrant jar of brandied cranberries, you are ready to start making some cocktails! The first one I made was a Cranberry Negroni that I posted last week. Next on my list was this week’s Cranberry Manhattan. It’s a wonderful take on a classic manhattan. Also, see that photo above, I used my new Channel Knife – Wusthof now I can make twists that don’t look pathetic!
This cocktail was everything I wanted it to be – a classic with a bit of a festive twist. Yummy!
