Last week I showed you my Hummingbird Shirt. Well, I’m back today with another shirt with birds on it!! I can’t help it, I am totally smitten with little birds on shirts. This adorable shirt is from the Maeve clothing line featured at Anthropologie. I love how comfortable and cute this shirt is.
I sew and I think people that sew look at clothing that they buy a little differently than a person who doesn’t sew. Any time I find a cute rayon shirt, I grab it. I can rarely find rayon printed fabric at my fabric store that I like. I also look for details. Details that take a little extra time, but make such a statement.
In this case, this shirt has cute pintucks on each side and on the back. I know it’s hard to tell in my photograph, but under each pocket starting at the top of the shirt are two pintucks. They go a little past the pocket and then open up. What that does is give a fitted top and a little extra flare at the bottom. It’s touches like that, that I look for. It also has adorable buttons.
I paired this shirt with Kut from the Kloth jeans and Restricted Flats.
