I am absolutely totally obsessed with shrubs!! 🙂 I love making them and drinking them and this beautiful drink you made could quite possibly be the favourite way for me to drink it! 🙂
Definitely need to get my hands on some peaches to make the shrub AND this cocktail!! Absolutely beautiful!

Pam,
I keep reading about shrubs! I just used the last of my peaches to can another batch of peach & plum salsa . . . but I’m intrigued enough to get more from the farmer’s market. We’re in that lovely season of late peaches PLUS early apples 🙂
Thanks for sharing!

All bourbon is whiskey, but not all whiskey is bourbon 😉 Bourbon has to be made in brand new oak barrels, and there’s specific regulations about how much of each grain can be in it, the alcohol content, and nothing can be added for flavoring except when the char the inside of the barrel. Whiskey can have all kinds of stuff added (you’ll never see flavored bourbon, but there’s all kinds of flavored whiskey.) Do you feel ed-uma-cated now? lol. I’ve never heard of a shrub though- I learned too!!!
