I am absolutely loving all the cocktails that can be found on the web now. You can find cocktails at liquor sites, but also at regular blogs. There are some bloggers like me, who post a cocktail a week. There are some that just post them randomly. I decided it would be fun to have a linky party just for things alcohol related. No food, no crafts or DIY, just alcohol. So, it could be wines and wine reviews, cocktails, scotch reviews, whiskey, moonshine, infused liquors…anything having to do with alcohol.
Since I started this blog by posting on Tuesdays and calling it Tipsy Tuesday, that is what we will call this linky party!
I’ve created a button that you can grab (on my sidebar) or you can simply link back to my website, either way works for me!
For my cocktail today, I found a post on 5 Gin Cocktails from The Pourhouse in Vancouver, BC on Serious Eats. I am definitely a gin fan. I love it’s herby resiny flavor. We started out with the Penny Farthing cocktail. The recipe was created by Lachlan Mackenzie of Pourhouse in Vancouver. It smooth and silky and oh-so-good!

- 1/4 ounce Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
- 1 dash orange bitters

Here’s my link for a sparkling-wine based cocktail recipe as well as one for a Meyer lemon shrub to add to it. http://jamesonfink.com/sparkling-wine-cocktails-lessons-from-sun-liquors-erik-chapman/
I am always looking for new ways to use Averna – I’ll be trying this soon! Thanks for the Tipsy Tuesday invite, Pam. 🙂
I’ve never seen Victoria gin. Tell me more. What makes the flavor unique? I love trying new gins.
What a cool gin recipe. As good as gin & tonic is, it’s always nice to find more mixes
I love making and shooting cocktails. This drink sounds great and I love that you used Luxardo liqueur. I have an almost full bottle sitting on my shelf just waiting to get used…
