Sleeveless Chambray for Fashion Over 50

By Pam Greer 6 Comments

T & W Designs Top, DKNY Jeans, Scarf for fashion over 50

I love fall.  Don’t you?  Now, all I wish is that the weather realized that it was fall.  I’m so tired of days in the 90’s.  The only thing that is making me happy right now are the summer clearance sales.  One of my favorite things to do is buy off season clothes at a fraction of the cost, tuck them away with with the rest of the out of season clothes.  Then next year when it’s time to bring out the clothes, it’s like Christmas.  I haven’t worn them yet, and I probably forgot that I even bought them.  The problem with this year is that it is staying so hot, that I’m wearing them now!  No surprises next spring when I bring out the spring and summer clothes.

This latest find was a sleeveless chambray top from T & W Designs that I found on clearance at Steinmart.  I love it’s long length and details like mother of pearl buttons on the front and the back.  Even though it doesn’t feel like fall, I added a few fall colors.  I started with an Adrienne Vittadini scarf that I’ve had forever.  I don’t know if you can tell but it has cats on it.  Luxie approves.   I added some khaki colored jeans from DKNY and Anne Klein flats.

See the cute buttons in the back?  I love it.  I wore this top again today with some khaki shorts as we walked along the Tn Riverwalk.  I think it’s rapidly becoming one of my favorite tops!

I do love the buttons in the back and the idea that you buy to store away for later. I tend to save for what I want or get the basics lately. Cute outfit!
