What do you look for in a purse? We all such specific needs. I need one to be a good size, not crazy large, but big enough to hold my everyday items and accommodate my iPad if I want to bring it along. So, size matters. In the spring and summer, I usually look for some color – something to blow away the winter cobwebs. But in the winter, I’m pretty traditional – it must be black or brown – or better yet – black and brown.
I am not one of those women who change out their purse with each outfit. I wish I was, because all you fashion bloggers out there make it look so easy. So, I need something that is going to go with everything I put on. So, a black and brown purse is perfect. The other thing I need in a purse is a nice long cross body strap. I am tall and I have neck issues. If I wear my purse on just one shoulder, my neck starts to act up, but with a cross body bag, I have no problems. Plus a cross body bag give you that extra bit of security, you can be using your hands and not worry about your heavy purse slipping off your shoulder.
Another thing I like in a bag is an outside zippered pouch – something big enough to hold my phone. This one is just big enough to hold my new iPhone 6+!
I love the detailing on this purse. It is primarily cognac colored, with black accents. The black bands on the handles and the belt type straps just adds such a nice touch. The sides of the purse can zip closed to hide some of the extra black, since I need the width, I leave mine unzipped.
I love my Steve Madden BHarris Hobo bag in cognac found at my favorite purse shopping store where every #maxxinista loves to shop – T. J. Maxx!
