Wafflez Factory | Eating Out in Chattanooga

Wafflez Factory Menu Eating Out in Chattanooga

After an early morning photo shoot in downtown Chattanooga on a Saturday morning, we found ourselves looking for a place to eat breakfast.  Did a quick Yelp search to find out what was open for breakfast on a Saturday morning, we found Wafflez Factory on MLK Blvd open.  We headed over and found a place to park right by UTC.  When we walked in, there was one table eating and one table waiting for take out.  You grab a menu, sit anywhere you’d like and then go back up to the counter to order.   With a name like Wafflez Factory, it was obvious that we would be having waffles.  You can choose one from the menu or make your own custom waffle.  We both chose the Blue and Gold with the egg medley.  I was not thrilled to see that they all said they came with whipped topping, as I am not a fan of that for breakfast.  However, when they were served, they didn’t have the topping on them, so that was a plus for me.

Blue and Gold Waffles from Wafflez Factory

The Blue and Gold waffles came with fresh blueberries and banana slice, two slices of bacon and the egg medley.  I’ve eaten a lot of waffles in my lifetime and I can honestly say that these are right up at the top, if not the very top.  They were incredibly light and fluffy with just the right amount of crispness.  Really, I don’t think I’ve had a lighter waffle!  They were amazing!  The bacon was cooked just the way I like it.  The egg medley was also a welcome surprise.  It was savory with onions and some sort of greens, maybe spinach.  It was also excellent.

We will definitely be going back soon!

Did they serve maple syrup? Like, REAL maple syrup and not pancake syrup? We are syrup snobs and get so annoyed when pancake syrup is served! We went to brunch at a pretty pricy place this summer and my husband ordered chicken and waffles. The menu said they were served with maple syrup. Nope. It was Aunt Jemima (or whatever). He was not happy!
