I received a complimentary sample of Captain Morgan’s Loconut.  Post may contain affiliate links.

Coco Loco Banana Daiquiri

The weather has been nice and cool here lately, but now the heat and humidity are coming back strong.  I hate heat.  On a hot summer day, you will rarely see me outside anytime between 10am and 6pm.  Part of that is because of a sun sensitivity and part of that is because I just plain hate hot weather.  Where you will find me is on my screened in porch, ceiling fan creating a soft breeze, sipping one of these Coco Loco Frozen Banana Daiquiris.

When Captain Morgan sent me a sample of their Loconut, I knew I was going to use it in some sort of fruity frozen drink.  You can drink it straight has shots, which also sounds delish, but I wanted something to sip and savor.  It was absolutely perfect in this Coco Loco Frozen Banana Daiquiri, so tropical and fresh.  The coconut gave it an even more tropical flare!

This was so easy to whip up with my Vitamix and so crazy delicious!   It’s made with light rum, dark rum, the Loconut, lime juice, orange juice, bananas and simple syrup!    After a quick buzz in the Vitamix, I poured it into some daiquiri glasses,  and some fun straws.  I can’t remember where I picked up these straws from, but these cute Umbrella Straws would have also been perfect!
