I pair a J. Jill Green Plaid Tunic with Vince Camito Pants and Antonio Milani Black Boots for this Fashion Over 50 outfit of the day.
Do you buy something you love in more than one color?
Hmmm… that top looks familiar, doesn’t it? Why yes it does. I already showed you this J. Jill Embroidered Plaid Tunic Top in Gray on my Mad for Plaid post and todays version is similar. I confess. I love plaid. I love the look of flannel shirts without all the extra warmth of a flannel, because sometimes you just don’t need all that warmth. Plaid is so easy to dress up or dress down.
I Love the Detailing on this J. Jill Plaid Tunic!
I love the detailing that J. Jill adds to their plaid tunics. On the grey one that I posted before there was delicate embroidery at the top adding a touch of femininity to the top. This plaid tunic also has some great detailing. I love that the button placard is cut on the bias creating more interest down the front. Another great detail is the fabric loops instead of regular buttonholes. As a person who sews, it’s these fine details that really stand out to me.
I paired this easy wearing tunic with a pair of Vince Camuto Black Leggings that I found at Marshall’s and my favorite pair of Antonio Milani Black Boots. It’s a look that is effortlessly put together and has become my winter staple. Tunic, leggings and boots, possibly add a scarf and you are good to go!
