Spring and fall are tricky times of the year to dress don’t you think? Both seasons can start out cool in the morning and end up warm in the afternoon. In addition to that you are ready for a change of season and starting to look at different colors and textures. Right now, I am over winter. I don’t want anymore dark colors. I want lighter colors, but it’s not warm enough for real spring/summer clothes.
One of my favorite spring looks comes from J Jill. I start with a sweet white tunic. Again, with the details, it has a soft pintucking in the front that adds some sweet accent. It is loose and comfortable and light even though it is long sleeved. I love to pair it with a long cotton cardigan also from J. Jill. It is a cream and taupe pattern that easily transitions into spring.
I paired the tunic and the cardigan with Kut from the Kloth jeans and my favorite Raffini shoes. This is a look that you can easily wear all day in the spring. As the day warms up, simply slip of the cardigan and you are in a cute tunic. If it gets too warm, just roll up the sleeves and you are good to go! What’s your favorite way to dress in the spring?

Great versatile sweater! And your calico – what a beauty. One of my best cats ever, Nola, was a calico and a sweetie. xox
