Bright Spring Sweater | Fashion Over 50

I’m back again this week with another colorful spring sweater.  A couple of weeks ago, I showed you my yellow sweater that I paired with light scarf.  As someone who gets cold easily, I have quite the collection of light spring/summer sweaters.  I love them.  I can toss them on over a sleeveless top and I am ready for your air-conditioned rooms.   Though I admit, there are still some places where I almost need a jacket, the air conditioning is so chilly.  I also love these sweaters for mornings and evenings when there can be a little chill in the air.

This is a sweet multi-colored Jeanne Pierre sweater.  It is a warm coral color with bright blue trim on the collar and cuffs.  You can really tell, but the button placard is yellow grosgrain ribbon, dotted with multi colored buttons.  I just love the extra details like that.  Speaking of details, this butter yellow shirt from Forever 21 is loaded with them.

It has a Peter Pan collar with a pleated ruffle.  The button placard is also edged in a pleated ruffle and the buttons are small roses.  I absolutely love all the details.  These are the kinds of things that I look for in the clothes that I buy.  I realize it’s probably hard to see in the above photo, what with the glaring paleness of my arms!!   I admit, I don’t wear a lot of sleeveless tops, since I am not all that enamored with the state of my upper arms, but they are perfect for under sweaters.

I’ve paired them with my favorite Kut from the Kloth Jeans and my Restricted flats.

It’s a lovely look for a cool morning (or any time of day)! And show off those arms, they look great. Thanks so much for sharing with Vis Monday, xo

Very cute! I love your outfits and this combo is very nice. I’ve sort of given up on finding shoes that feel good on my feet because I walk so much when I’m out and about I just want to be comfortable. But I’m tempted!

Love the soft colors on you. This is my favorite shade of yellow, the soft cream yellow, and paired with the coral cardi and shoes, lovely on you!
