Black and Beige for Fall

While I absolutely adore fall, what with it being my favorite season and all, it can be tricky to dress for.  Cool mornings give way to warm afternoons.  While I find myself needing a sweater, it has to be a thin sweater, anything else just doesn’t feel right.  This 3 quarter length sleeve beige cardigan from Steinmart and from my summer capsule wardrobe is going to get quite a work out this fall.  Right now it is perfect.  As I gather up the long sleeve cardigans for my fall capsule wardrobe, it will probably get a much deserved rest.

 

You can see that I based this outfit on #76 from The French Minimalist Summer Capsule 2017.   All I did was sub the leopard flats for the black sandals and added a scarf to my hair. I also added a vintage copper bangle that belonged to my grandmother.  You can see that I keep things pretty simple.  The cardigan is from Steinmart, sleeveless tank from TJ Maxx, leopard flats and jeans from Marshalls, bangle from grandmother’s jewelry box.

I already have quite a few things in my closet that will fit into my fall capsule wardrobe, but I have already started shopping for a few of the things on my list.  I am having trouble finding a black blazer that is not too dressy.  I want something a little more sporty.  Has anyone seen one that I might like?
