Spring Sweater | Fashion Over 50

Spring sweater outfit of the day.  Post may contain affiliate links.

Jeanne Pierre Spring Sweater

Just when you think spring is here, the temperature drops and you are forced to bundle up!  One of my favorite ways to dress through spring is with layering.  I love cardigans.  I love three-quarter length sleeve cardigans.  Toss them over a a white t-shirt and you are good to go.  Add a scarf and you really step up your game.  I know.  As most of you can tell from my other fashion posts, I don’t spend a lot of time accessorizing.  I am all about simple.  I’m good if I remember to put on earrings, I am in constant fear that my pierced ears will close.  So the fact that I am layering with a spring sweater, a scarf and eagle eyes might even notice a bracelet – this is my A-game!

I love this Jeanne Pierre cotton sweater.  If I had been clever enough, I would have taken a close up so you can see the lovely lace like detailing of the sweater.  It is the perfect spring sweater, made of cotton and provides just the right amount of comfort.  I have lots of spring scarves.  They are perfect for chilly mornings.   I liked it so much that when I found it, I actually bought it in three colors!  This golden butter yellow, a deep magenta, and a teal.  I’m sure they’ll show up here soon!

Yellow spring Sweater

The scarf with it’s muted oranges, taupes and yellows works great both in the spring and the fall, as does this sweater.  If I wear a dark brown t-shirt under the sweater and scarf and pair with some lightweight corduroys, I’m ready for fall.   As a matter of fact, if I remember (very, very, big IF), I’ll try and do this outfit again in the fall.

My favorite Restricted orange flats and two Bourbon and Bowties bangles complete the look.  Two accessories – a scarf and bangles – that’s practically a record for me!

Hi Pam, I am Ada. I have stopped by before. The marigold color of that cardigan is so pretty and the scarf is so effortless with it. Also, those are some great D’orsay flats. =)
