Any else love end of season clearance shopping?! I know, right! Everyone’s hand went up. I usually find such great bargains, all on clearance. I then put them away with the rest of the season’s clothes, tags still on them. Then when it’s time to change out clothes next season, it’s like a surprise! Because I never wore the clothes, I barely have any memory of buying them. Like this Sonoma pink sweater from Kohl’s. I found it at the very end of the season last winter. It was on a final clearance rack and just my size, for only $8!! As usual, I had completely forgotten about it until I moved over my winter clothes (I keep my out of season clothes in the guest bedroom closet.) You can’t go wrong with a classic knit sweater. I love the soft pink color and the classic cable detailing.
It’s kind of hard to tell in the photo, but there are small flecks of other colors. You don’t really notice it until you look up close. It will definitely be an asset this winter. I’ll be able to pair with everything from jeans to corduroys. Today I paired it with some gray Gloria Vanderbilt corduroys that I’ve had forever and some gray Born booties. I love the classic combination of pink and gray.
For those of you wondering where my kitty assistant was, she came in to help right when I was finished!

Lovely pink sweater, and I too love this color with grays. You look wonderful as does your feline assistant! Thanks for linking, xo

I totally know what you mean about finding surprises in your drawers! I love gray, blush pink and some burgundy mixed in there. Great, casual outfit that reminds me that I need to get a pair of gray pants (mine are lost, no idea how that can actually happen but it did).
